Junior Academy (JA)
The Junior Academy (JA) is an introductory program to figure skating. These Athletes are invited by OSC Coaches from Canskate. Participants MUST have passed Stage 3 CanSkate. Skaters will be taught in a group environment learning all the necessary figure skating components. The JA program focuses on the basics to edge development, jump and spin techniques, dance and creative movement. Skaters learn how to manage a training session with structured plans of the day. This program includes Ice AND all Coaching costs.

- Monday and Sunday Dryland is encouraged to support balance, coordination flexibility, core awareness and sport specific jumps and spin techniques.

- Skate Canada membership fee of $35.65 (non-refundable and non-transferrable)
Membership year - September 1 - August 31.
