All OSC programs will take place at the Okotoks Recreation Centre - Piper Arena and Scott Seaman Sports Rink.

Learn to Skate
CanSkate:
For ages 5+, learn all the fundamental skills needed for figure skating, hockey and ringette.
Required equipment: skates, mittens or gloves, and CSA approved helmet.

Pre-CanSkate:
For 3-5 years , who have never skated before or who are not yet confident on the ice.
Required equipment: – skates, mittens or gloves, and CSA approved hockey helmet.

PrePower:
Intro to power skating for ages 4-6. This is NOT a Learn to Skate program; skaters should be able to skate forwards and
backwards PRIOR to registering and/or have passed the PreCanSkate program.
Equipment Required: CSA approved helmet WITH CAGE and hockey stick. Hockey equipment is optional.

CanPower
Power A
Power A - For ages 5-9, power skating for skaters usually in Initiation and/or 1st year U7 hockey/Ringette. This is NOT a Learn to Skate program.
Prerequisites: PreCanPower or Canskate stage 4-6 or equivalent skating experience.
Required Equipment: Full hockey/ringette equipment including stick and CSA approved helmet, with water bottle.

STARSkate
As in Fall/Winter, STARskaters may only skate on sessions appropriate to their level, and as approved by OSC Coaches
Academy
All Academy sessions are shared with Jr. STARSkate.
All Academy sessions include ice and coaches fees.
