2024 OSC Year-End Showcase

OSC is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 2024 Year-End Showcase event on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. 

Event participation is open to participants in Pre-Junior and all levels of StarSkate from the Fall/Winter 2023-24 season.

Event Info

• For those that are new to OSC, we host a year-end event each year but it bi-annually rotates between a Showcase event and a large-scale Ice Show production. OSC just hosted the ice show production of 'Grease on Ice' last March 2023 and so this year we are hosting a Showcase. 

• A Showcase event is a "mini" show that is a scaled-down version and does not include props, costumes, lighting or a theme. 

• The focus for this event is on our skaters having fun and showcasing their hard work and the skills they've learned throughout the season. Skaters have been learning a group routine in their current sessions, so no extra practice sessions are required which allows for a low-cost event to OSC and allows for free admission for family and friends to enjoy.

• Our next large-scale Ice Show production will take place next March 2025 and will require a year of planning, many volunteers and costumes, props, a theme and ticket sales.

Emails went out to all the participants with information on your skater's performance(s) over the past weekend. All skaters in Junior and up will perform twice and the Pre-Junior group will perform once.

Guest and Spectator Info

Admission to the event is free and we encourage you to invite your family and friends to attend! 

There will be flower sales and a raffle so be sure to have attendees bring cash! We are not able to accept credit/debit but there is an ATM on site. 

Day of Event Info:

Skaters are to be checked-in and dropped-off at 1:30 pm

Professional Photos

OSC has arranged for a photographer to take professional photos of each skater individually and as a group. Photos will take place throughout the showcase event and parents are not required to be with their skater during this time.
