Registration Dates:
Registration for the Fall season of CanSkate/PowerSkate will open on the following dates:
Okotoks/Foothills County Residents: July 14, 2025
Public Registration: July 23, 2025
All Fall/Winter programming will take place at the Okotoks Recreation Centre - Piper Arena and Scott Seaman Sports Rink in DeWinton.
Registration Deadlines:
CANSKATE/PRE-CANSKATE: October 17, 2025 (or until sessions are full)
PRE-POWER/POWERSKATE: October 17, 2025 (or until sessions are full)

OSC reserves the right to cancel or adjust sessions or pricing as deemed necessary by the OSC Board of Directors.
All withdrawals and cancellations are subject to the OSC Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Important Registration Details
- Registration for Parent & Tot requires two steps: registering the skater and the adult. Both the skater and adult require a Skate Canada membership and the fee will be added to your invoice at registration.
- Create an Account:
If you’re registering for the first time, click Login and create an account. Add both your skater (child) and the adult as Participants. If you’ve registered before, you can add new participants during the next step. - Add to Cart (Child):
Add the Child option to your cart and select your skater as the participant. - Add to Cart (Adult):
Add the same class (same day and time) to your cart again, but this time choose the Adult option. Either add a new participant with the adult’s details (including birth date for insurance purposes) or select the adult from your existing participant list. - Verify Cart:
Follow the prompts to complete registration.

Important Program Info
- All skaters and adults must wear skates and a CSA-approved hockey helmet (please reference our Helmet Use Policy for more info).
- Only one (1) skater is allowed per adult registration.
- Only the adult registered at the start of the season may accompany the skater on the ice. The Skate Canada membership fee is non-transferable, so please ensure the adult who will be on the ice is the one listed during registration.
