Registration for the Fall/Winter season will open on the following dates:

Okotoks/Foothills County Residents: July 14, 2025

Public Registration: July 23, 2025

Out-of-Club StarSkate: August 1, 2025

All Fall/Winter programming will take place at the Okotoks Recreation Centre - Piper Arena and Scott Seaman Sports Rink.

Updates for the 2025-26 season

This season, our SynchroSkate program is growing! We're moving beyond the "Learn to Synchro" format and offering a full synchronized skating program. Skaters will work together as a team to learn a choreographed routine and may have the opportunity to compete, depending on team readiness.

This fun and fast-paced team program is ideal for skaters who love performing, teamwork, and building their skills in a supportive environment. We're aiming to form a team of 12 to 16 skaters.

There are no age restrictions for joining SynchroSkate; however, skaters must have passed the Star 1 Skills Assessment.

Session days and times are subject to change without notice.

OSC reserves the right to cancel or adjust sessions or pricing as deemed necessary by the OSC Board of Directors.

All withdrawals and cancellations are subject to the OSC Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Additional Fees

Skate Canada Membership Fee 2025-26 - $62

The Skate Canada Membership fee is due once per season and is mandatory for all on-ice participants. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The current season dates are Sept 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.

Payment is required before any participant may take to the ice. The fee is made up of a registrant fee to both the National office and Section office (Alberta-NWT/Nun), the Safe Sport fee and Injury Benefit Charge.

Competition Fees - TBA

If a team is formed and eligible to compete, competition fees will be invoiced to participating skaters at that time. These fees are separate from the regular program registration and will cover entry fees, coaching expenses, and any associated costs related to attending competitions.

Coaching Fees

Coaching fees are included in registration fees; however, if a team is formed and eligible to compete, competition fees will be invoiced to participating skaters at that time. These fees are separate from the regular program registration and will cover entry fees, coaching expenses, and any associated costs related to attending competitions.Coaching fees are not included in registration fees. Members can expect to be charged by coaches directly, with payment due to the coaches.
